Information of outgoing payments to EEA
December 14, 2009
On 1st November 2009, in the countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), the Directive of the Payment Services in the European Union came into force, according to which, while performing a payment order to EEA country in Euros or in the currency of EEA country, SHA (shared) type of the commission fee must be applied, i.e. when the payer and the payee each pays the commission fees of their bank.
By choosing OUR or BEN type of the commission fee, the payee may be additionally charged by his bank. We recommend, while carrying out a payment order to EEA country, to choose SHA type of the commission fee.
